Round Chimney Brush with Cleaning Rods
Use this poly brush to clean all stainless steel flexible or rigid liners that are used to vent wood, coal, gas and oil. Poly Brushes are made of .075ā stiff, black, polypropylene bristles to withstand the acidic effects of coal, oil and gas flues, resulting in a longer lifespan. If you have a stainless chimney liner, many liner warranties require the use of poly brushes instead of wire brushes. Wire brushes scratch and damage the inside of stainless liners.
The Poly Brushes included in our kit option are available in 5.5 in., 6 in. and 8 in. diameters. The Chimney Cleaning Rods are 5 ft. long flexible fiberglass with 3/8 in. threaded connection. Rods can be connected end to end and then to the chimney brush. You will receive 3, 4 or 5 rods, depending on length of flue you select. Brushes and rods may also be purchased separately.
